The subject is an observer of the scene, but he is also captured by it. He has forgotten how he constituted this scene. He has forgotten that we all are scene observers, prisoners of modernity, rendered into objects even to ourselves. He remains, then, slave of an infantile fantasy, the slave of a past time that does not pass.
